Rosewood Bikes sees the bicycle as a vehicle for sustainable transportation, healthy living, community-building, employment and employment training, life-long learning, self-sufficiency, and fun.
Rosewood Bikes offers bike repair at The Rosewood Initiative’s Community Center at 161st & Stark in outer SE Portland. Tuesday-Friday, 11am-6pm, members of the community can bring their bikes by and get them worked on (while learning how to fix them, too). We have stands and basic tools available for people to work on their own bikes. Our very reasonable rates for labor and parts are the best in town, and additional discounts are available (see the Shop page).
Rosewood Bikes is a project of The Rosewood Initiative, a community development organization working in the Rosewood neighborhood to encourage community and to improve the Rosewood neighborhood for the benefit of its residents.
